Chefs Night Out Returns October 7: There’s Room at the Table for All of Valpo
Valpo Restaurants invites local chefs, restaurant owners and the entire Valparaiso community to Chefs Night Out on Wednesday, October 7 at 5:30 p.m. at Martinis in Valpo.
This special Greek-themed Chefs Night Out will also celebrate the new Valpo Local Restaurant Directory, a community resource designed to help people discover local restaurants by cuisine and category.
The idea behind the night is simple:
Valpo’s chefs spend their nights cooking for us. On October 7, they’re putting down their aprons, pulling up a chair and breaking bread with the community.
And there’s room at the table for all of Valpo.
What Is Chefs Night Out in Valparaiso?

Chefs Night Out is a Valpo Restaurants tradition that brings local restaurant owners, chefs, their families, customers and the community together for an evening centered around food and conversation.
This isn’t an industry meeting or formal restaurant event.
It’s a chance for the people normally working behind the scenes in Valpo’s kitchens and dining rooms to become the guests for an evening.
Previous Chefs Night Out gatherings have brought restaurant owners and customers together around the same table, creating exactly the kind of connection that has helped make Valparaiso’s local restaurant community special.
