Featured Dishes at the Martinis Greek Night Menu

A few things worth planning your Chefs Night Out Valparaiso appetite around: Saganaki, the Kefalograviera cheese flambéed tableside and finished with lemon and warm pita; Grilled Octopus, char-broiled until fork-tender; a whole Leg of Lamb in Martinis’ own demi glaze; and a Whole Bream imported from the Mediterranean and grilled whole. Dessert closes with Baklava and Galaktobouriko — honey and custard layers straight out of a Greek grandmother’s kitchen.

Why Valparaiso Restaurants Host Chefs Night Out Together

For 20 years, Valparaiso’s restaurant owners have worked together as a grassroots group to support the city and make it a better place to live, work, and play — through fundraisers, promoting one another’s restaurants, and helping new restaurants get off the ground. That group has raised $110,000 for The Caring Place, $32,000 and 3,500+ pounds of food for Hilltop Neighborhood House, and $142,000 and counting overall. The Valpo Local Restaurant Directory is their newest initiative, and Chefs Night Out marks its public launch.
