Valpo University Homecoming Craft Beer Festival – Valpo Restaurants
The spirit of community is back and stronger than ever in the Vale of Paradise. Shoulder-to-shoulder, the Chefs that helped make Valparaiso a destination for outdoor dining and international cuisine wanted to show their love for VU Alumni, parents, and students over 21 with this new tradition.
Each restaurant features a unique flite of craft beers specially selected for our VU Alumni. If you haven’t been to Valpo’s college town in a few years, you are in for a surprise. Valpo’s revitalized downtown has become a destination for foodies, fans of live music, and outdoor dining. Restaurants include Radius-Valpo (Burgers), Don Quijote Spanish Cuisine, Scarpe Italian, Furin Japanese Restaurant and Bar, Pikk’s Chicago Tavern, and Elements Wine Bar.
A few blocks north of Valpo’s Downtown Square is Martinis. Martinis is a destination for people that want to meet friends, but the romantic patio setting is the perfect rendezvous for a romantic dinner and a bottle of fine wine. This remarkable restaurant was recently remodeled inside and out. Meeting old college friends for cold crafts on the Mediterranean patio or watching sports on the countless hi-def big-screen TVs, you’ll love homecoming at Martinis.
Homecoming Lodging with on-site Beer Festival- For a little resort fun with lodging, Tommy Bs Sports Bar & Abbey Steakhouse are located at the Aberdeen Inn, Valpo’s resort is just minutes south of Valpo’s downtown. Put upscale lodging, great food, and seasonal crafts in your Homecoming plans.
