Artichoke Hearts with Serrano Ham
Ingredients
- 1 jar (about 14 oz.) of plain artichoke hearts
- 2 tbsp. olive oil
- 1 to 2 tsp. of crushed fresh garlic
- 1 to 2 tsp. of chopped parsley
- 1 red roasted pimento, cut in strips
- 1 tsp. Spanish paprika
- 1 to 2 tsp. red wine vinegar
- about 4 oz. of Serrano ham (cut in pieces)
Instructions
Drain the artichokes and discard the water. Place the artichokes in a frying pan with the olive oil, add the garlic, parsley, and pimento. Sauté them over medium heat and sprinkle the paprika to coat the artichokes. Add the Serrano ham, blending with the artichoke mixture, immediately add the vinegar, mix well until heated and serve.
